Secondment role to finance projects for Reconciliations

3 month secondment following centralisation of finance department

Reconcile weekly/monthly Tour Operator supplier statements to reservation system, ensuring all queries are promptly dealt with to avoid unnecessary chargesRaise payments to Suppliers within set payment terms following company procedures at all timesPromptly chase refunds due from Suppliers, working closely with cancellations teamReview monthly Aged Creditors report and investigate and resolve all outstanding balances for bookings already departed and/or cancelledEnsure late booking requests sent by Sales Department are promptly actioned to avoid cancellation charges

Supervising a team of accounts executives in the maintenance of client bank accounts Effectively analyse data and report on insurance premium payments Monitor teams data entry and reconciliation of receipts and payments in Sage Line 50Ensuring payment of commissions, underwriting and refunds to relevant parties is completed within agreed service levelsEffectively manage and reconcile MI reportsResolve third party client and customer queries Accurately maintain Purchase and General LedgersResponsible for the Daily Banking of incoming cheques Manage relationship with company bankers Produce sales invoices within agreed service levels
