Decision Support Lead And Chief Privacy Officer
CurrentProvide leadership and direction to senior management with respect to data, information and reporting to support strategic corporate planning and decision making along with ensuring client and staff privacy requirements are understood and maintained.• Oversee privacy requirements (staff training, client data security, accountabilities), managing and reporting any concerns/issues related to privacy to provincial Privacy Commission• Lead organization in use of data analytics in program development, staff oversight and client progress• Instrumental in receiving federal grant to explore development of interactive data system connecting separate healthcare providers. Sharing assessment data instead of sharing static reports – this enables a seamless transfer of client information between agencies and reduced demands and repetition on clients.• Liaise with frontline staff, management and vendor to implement internationally recognized assessment tools, create forms and reports to maximize ease of use of quantitative data.• Build, explore and work with analytical tools, such as Power BI and SQL to create appropriate data reports for different audiences (e.g. executive, managers, frontline staff).• Support the agency in program and corporate performance measurement, external data requests, and Ministry reporting. Design and rollout of performance measures and reports to corporate leadership and the Board, and directly accountable to the Board Quality Committee.• Establish a research network that focuses on continuous quality improvement by identifying benchmark targets and implementation of best practice performance indicators and scorecards.• Collaborate with teams to define and extract data and facilitate collection to support needs, create tracking tools and review processes to improve service delivery.• Involved in Ontario Health Team committees (Sarnia and Chatham) working toward new design of the healthcare sector.
