My role at NAXION as Network Manager has me overseeing all aspects of their information technology department from end-user support to infrastructure management.

As Wirecard’s Operations Manager, I managed projects vital to Wirecard’s profitability, business continuity, and overall lifecycle of the business. I effectively set new standards on how changes were implemented into production environments to ensure uptime and stability.Additionally, I managed their annual disaster recovery project from task development, assignments, and execution to ensure an accurate and thorough test was performed.

As the manager of the Proactive Services team, I was required to utilize my years of experience as a technical engineer to lead and manage my team. I primarily ensured the success of all open Proactive Services projects, and the overall success of my department, while keeping costs low. Working closely with the director of technology, I am able to implement processes and applications to help IT Solutions grow. Additional duties and tasks completed while at IT Solutions:- Responsible for all new clients’ discovery and documentation projects - Tasks included: Documentation of networking infrastructure, VMWare/Windows/AppleOS environments, NetApp Configurations, and creating detailed network diagrams- Led monthly meetings for the entire Managed Services department to review/educate/train on new and existing clients and processes. - Fully migrated all managed clients to Mimecast Email Security from Nuvotera- Developed a written standardization guide of all of IT Solutions’ best practices- Recommended and helped Implement new client satisfaction surveys- Conducted regular meetings with employees, including annual performance and salary review- Developed strategic goals for individuals and the department’s growth

While working on the Service Help Desk, I was made the primary contact for a disgruntled company and reshaped the relationship to be a successful one. My skills were then used as an engineer in the field to handle many on-premises issues for our clients and remote support when on-site trips were not necessary.Other tasks included:- Managed web servers, file servers, domain controllers, and other various roles on client network-Installed and managed Dell and HP servers, Cisco, Dell, HP switches, Sonicwall, PaloAlto and Cisco ASA firewalls, NetApp and Nimble storage networks, and Ubiquiti, Sonicwall, VMWare environments and various other wireless devices.- Set up, monitored, and analyzed network monitoring tools to help determine needs for growth and troubleshooting - Performed detailed network analysis and made recommendations to account managers- Creating various monitor sets and alerts to help provide a more proactive response to clients’ needs - Recreated the onboarding process to streamline tasking to help save on effort hours while allowing for a more focused and detail-oriented project plan - Assisted in tasks to allow for SSAE, PCI, and HIPAA compliance certification
