I am very excited about the opportunities presented by the Ownership team at Kortman and look forward to a long fruitful Journey.Completing my first year with KEI has been very enjoyable. In the first 12 months we have seen the Service Department evolve into the Service and Special Projects Department and our staff has more than doubled. We are in the process of adding the 17th vehicle to the service fleet while preparing to expand into surrounding markets. We have just completed the acquisition of an EEPRO's co-operative Alliance covering 11 cities in the Arizona market, and brought on our first Executive Sales Manager to the team.The diversity of product offerings continues to expand along with the client base. We are humbled at the success and grateful to the ownership team for the support and confidence they have placed in the leadership of this department.Pressing to the future!!!

My time at Spectra Electrical Services, Inc. was one of the greatest experiences of my career. The management team was a pleasure to work with. My responsibilities included supervision and support of all Project Managers along with job costing and WIP reports, as well as the companies procurement processes. I maintained a lead role with estimating and provided feed back on current market conditions from an operational point of view. I was also responsible in the final approval of all estimates for the construction & Service Departments. Understanding the Company Culture allowed me to work closely with Marketing and to be that conduit between sales and our field operations. The company's General Superintendent and I work closely together to ensure that all of our supervisors understood the company’s vision and policies so that what we sold was what the client received.

My Role at RML was unique. As a Project Manager & Estimator I also brought to the company a new level of technology. I was responsible for setting up the companies first network, website, email server, and printed marketing material. Working with Rob was a good experience and I appreciate his friendship. My time at RML came to an end after I contracted a rare strain of Valley Fever in 2003

I started for Wilson in December of 1996 as an Estimator, in early 1997 I was asked to move into Project Management. I had the privilege of working on several high profile projects while at Wilson. I was the lead Estimator for the 200 million dollar Louis Prison in Buckeye and the expansion project in Yuma. Wilson placed second by under $200,000.00 on this project. I was the project manager for the Phoenix Coyotes Training Facility in Scottsdale Arizona & the Esplanade phase 4 office tower at 24th Street & Camelback.

I was the qualifying party for the electrical development division of CAS. This was a partnership using my own electrical license of Creative Power Resources. After the CAS partnership dissolved I decided to move back into a management and estimating role within the industry.

C3 was the minority division of Code Electric Company. We were primarily involved in Municipal, State, County and Federal projects consisting of general and electrical construction for commercial office, water and waste water general engineering based projects with an occasional hi-tech military based project like the tank systems testing facility in Ft. Huachuca Arizona

E-Electric was a small family owned company. Gordon Edwards provided my first opportunity to transition from the field into management. I worked as a supervisor for Gordon until I was involved in a motorcycle accident. Rather than lay me off Gordon gave me a shot as an estimating assistant and put me in charge of purchasing for the company. I am forever indebted to Gordon for his kindness to my family and I. Dennis Plummer (a great electrician) and I were Gordon’s last two employees when he decided to close up shop and retire.
