Main Duties:• Coordinated, performed, and developed project management for Veterans First initiatives through tracking of more than 200 Veterans per month. • Collected and interpreted data to assess the impacts of the Veterans’ current treatments and provided recommendations to senior leadership on improvements. • Conducted all phases of projects including planning, organizing, estimating costs, and coordinating with staff. • Managed real property operations of two facilities to ensure compliance with California Housing Authority standards and policies. • Surveyed the organization for process improvement opportunities with systems redesign teams to fix problems through Lean tools and root cause analysis. • Collaborated and partnered with Veterans Administration, local state representatives and other community partners to help Veterans obtain rehabilitation and permanent housing. • Implemented tracking sheet for service center which led to Veteran findings that supported GPD grants in accordance with the Veteran Health Administration.

Main Duties: • Responsible for the maintenance and accountability of over 2.5 million dollars worth of equipment while in a combat zone.• Administered proper preventive maintenance on all team equipment resulting in a perfect level of readiness.• Directly responsible for the discipline, health, welfare, professional development and readiness of all members of the team.• Tasked for the collective training of all members of the squad on all weapon systems, radio communications equipment, land navigation technologies, and the tactical employment of all these systems.• Received direct training on many technological devices and their practical applications.• Directly lead and planned a multitude of dismounted, mounted, and air assault operations. To include deciding routes, manifests, checkpoints, manpower needed, and tasks to complete once in the objective area.• Selected over peers to serve as a squad leader for over 30 days during combat operations with no degradation in squad performance. • Coordinated the distribution of administrative and training documents ensuring the professional growth, and development of all subordinates in the squad.• Prepared classes and slide shows for groups of thirty or more members of the company as well as instructed those classes.• Extremely knowledgeable about security applications, implementing security cordons, searches, as well as the sensitive site exploitation of bagging any evidence, picture taking, and cataloging of evidence.• Assisted with the building of, and security of multiple coalition and Iraqi army patrol bases, for security operations in central Iraq.
