Special Project, iota OneBox: Development of an IoT pressure sewer controller for a utility-owned R&D subsidiary. Operating as the lead electronics engineer, supporting systems engineer, regulatory coordinator, technical writer, and pre-production coordinator, I was instrumental in the delivery of this project. Our team delivered a successful outcome within constrained timelines meeting aggressive cost targets. Operating as the lead electronics engineer, and supporting in the systems development and system implementation, I played a crucial role in the successful development of this system. Working with an international team, and many different project stakeholders, we made this project a huge success for our customer. The electrical safety aspects of this system have been checked off. Exposure to EMC, safety, communications, environmental standards and standards frameworks, proprietary standards, and working groups for NBN standards development.Manufacturing: Performed QA batch testing for off-shore manufactured shipments. Responsible for local manufacturing of custom products including: telephone recording devices, communications accessories, robust community telephones, and one-off produced systems. Configured manufacturing product lines, and developed new production processes to maximise product quality and consistency.
