Louisville, Kentucky Area

One of four Front Line Leaders who reported directly to the manager of Production Control. The department had a total of 30 associates.Was Project leader on many projects over the years with Humana. These included periodic equipment and software upgrades, Implementation of $Universe and all associated tasks, Refurbishing our disaster recovery space to include adequate space and machines to allow proper staffing. Supervise 8 production control analysts responsible for onlines and batch data processing on 10 LPAR's and many servers in the distributed environment. We utilized CA7 for mainframe batch processing and $Universe from Orsyp to control processing on the distriburted systems. Handled all hiring for the entire department including creating postings. Incoming resume reviews. Scheduling interviews. Salary discussion and final selection of successful candidates.Responsible for monthly reporting of payroll for the department and production totals to track workload. Coordinated with systems programming to insure minimal downtime during scheduled upgrades of hardware and software. Supervised the team during implementation of the changes.Interfaced with all levels of personnel outside of the department to resolve issues that arose. Provided training to all new hires and monitored staff education and assigned training as needed. Personally tried to take at least 6-8 classes a year to keep sharp and insure I was promotable if an opportunity presented itself.

Dallas/Fort Worth Area

Assigned to various healthcare related contracts. I was initially assign to Anthem and then after a year I was moved from Louisville to Dallas to take over responsibility for service delivery at The University of Pennsylvania Medical Center(Philadelphia, PA), Northwest Memorial Hospital(Chicago, IL), Loma Linda University Medical Center(Loma Linda, CA), MPTF(Calabasas, CA) and The Queens Medical Center(Honolulu, HI).I was responsible for a data center consolidation project for UMASS in Worcester, MA. Responsible for managing build out of new facility and migration of equipment. For these contracts I was responsible for all aspects of processing and infrastructure to insure that all service levels from the various contracts were being met.Responsible for change management in the environments to minimize impact. Responsible for root cause analysis of issues and implementation of changes to correct the problem. This job required extensive travel.
