Setting up business, liaising with government of Ghana for all licencing requirements, for mining operations and exportation of diamonds. Initially started as a joint venture with a local community in Akwatia of the Birim River Basin diamond reserves. After the first operation was completed leased a parcel of land. Head of Flight Operations for “Plan Colombia” drug eradication. Working with the Colombian police and Military forces, undertaking aerial fumigation targeting illicit cultivation of marijuana, poppy, and coca. Fumigation is intended to eradicate, or at least substantially diminish, the surface area dedicated to illicit crop production. The illicit drugs are planted in areas controlled by terrorist guerilla groups therefore, access to these regions is very difficult, and planes come under fire from rebel ground forces. Between 2000 and 2003, the fumigation program sprayed over 380,000 hectares of coca, which is equivalent to more than 8% of Colombia’s arable land.In 2004 a record high aerial herbicide fumigation campaign of 1,366 square kilometers, using just 24 aircraft,reduced the total area of surviving coca, even as newer areas are plantedManaging a team of fifty two responsible for:Tasks related to the fleet management including daily supervision of operations. Clients included: a university, a national charity, construction companies, hotels, retailers, car hire, home improvement and network marketing companies.

Joined as a First Officer and subsequently promoted to Captain flying BAe 146 Regional Jetliner (100 passengers), to European routes from Manchester. Then Boeing 737-400 for Air UK Liesure the charter arm of the airline, operating from Luton Airport.

Purchased (with first wife) a 36 bedroom hotel converted to specialist accommodation for the offshore gas platform workers. Negotiated with the major contractor, responsible for all aspects of workers onshore requirements; transport, accom, medical emergencies, personal, etc. Increased turnover of hotel 10 fold after one year. Closed due to divorce.

Naval officer. Military pilot. Saw active service in the Falklands war. Gained Ocean Navigation Cert. and Bridge Watchkeeping Cert to manage a 21,000 ton aircraft carrier with 1,100 crew, day or night, at sea or in harbour. Additional duties of education officer, teaching, firefighting, damage control. Organised a military tattoo and VIP visits. Carried out disaster relief duties after a hurricane.
