    I am a litigator with a background in engineering and business. I have a diverse civil litigation practice with an emphasis on resolving product liability, general negligence, occupiers'​ liability, construction, environmental and class action disputes for insurers and self-insured clients. I have trial, motion, application and appeal experience before all levels of court in Ontario and have appeared before several administrative tribunals.Class actions are a significant part of my practice. I recently served as lead counsel for defendants in two major class proceedings arising from the COVID-19 pandemic and have worked on many other product liability class actions.I have also had the privilege of acting as counsel for various intervener groups on important issues such as communicating with experts (Moore v Getahun), the admissibility of expert evidence (Westerhof v Gee) and the role of morality in law (Canada v Bedford).
