Stephen Liebowitz is a Managing Consultant within BRG’s Healthcare Performance Improvement practice, where he focuses on fostering partnerships with health system leadership to drive operational performance and financial enhancement initiatives . Working with the Strategy and Ambulatory Services team, Dr. Liebowitz serves as the client executive and engagement director for large-scale projects involving single and multi-facility systems in both academic and community healthcare settings. His experience also includes serving as an interim executive to support clients in developing referral management strategies, establishing patient navigation hubs, identifying service gaps, and improving patient access within health systems.Prior to joining BRG, he completed a Executive Administrative Fellowship at Geisinger, where he gained valuable expertise in hospital and ambulatory operations and led system-wide quality and performance improvement efforts. Dedicated to advancing healthcare, Stephen is actively involved in volunteer work; he chairs the higher education network and sponsorship committees, has received the ACHE Regent Early Careerist Award, serves on the Regent’s advisory committee, and is a board member with the Connecticut Association of Healthcare Executives. Additionally, he contributes to multiple national nonprofit boards.
