As an experienced supply chain manager in the production field, I see the process as a giant puzzle with many moving parts. When an organization brings its planning, forecasting, procurement, inventory control and production scheduling functions to work together as a well-oiled machine, they will experience exponential improvements. An organization’s bottom-line profits and customer satisfaction will be a direct result of improvements such as less work stoppages, improved quality, more timely deliveries and cost savings.This is where my true specialty lies, in finding a way to bring all of these moving parts together. I have worked across many diverse manufacturing industries such as solar mirrors, aerospace and plastics. However, the common thread you will find in the details of my work experience below is my dedication to constant process improvement. I have worked in multiple ISO 9001 certified facilities and am well-versed in Lean Six Sigma and 5S principles. I am never satisfied with the status quo and I constantly seek opportunities to make operations run smoother and work better. I am a team player who excels at building internal relationships, which not only promotes interoperability, it helps pave the way for these process improvements. As a leader I take a mentoring approach to motivating my team as opposed to intimidation. I have implemented many process changes in my years of experience and I have found that you are more likely to gain people’s buy-in to new methods or procedures through explaining the “why” behind the changes instead of forcing them to get on-board.
