I graduated from Michigan State University’s College of Engineering in 2018 where I became more attentive to the environmental problems plaguing our world. I strive to learn as much as I can about sustainability and the environment.As an undergraduate student, I chose to major in Applied Engineering Sciences (very similar to Industrial Engineering) because of the unique opportunity it offered me to take classes in business and engineering. The design of the program allowed me to be exposed to all the different kinds of engineering offered at Michigan State University, and a multitude of business concepts especially in supply chain management. I have gathered experience and knowledge in the automotive and logistics industries from my internships, and learned about applying continuous improvement tools, leading cost reduction initiatives, and reducing waste from my time at HAP. I have helped identify over $6 million in cost savings throughout my professional experience.I worked at Stellantis through RGBSI for almost three years in their purchasing department as a Process Analyst. I collaboratively worked with a team from IT to permanently resolve system issues in our system, increasing its efficiency. I also co-managed an international cross-functional team to align the global raw material processes. I am currently in my last semester at the University of Michigan. I am pursuing a dual-degree in Sustainable Systems from their School for Environment and Sustainability (SEAS), and in Manufacturing Engineering from their Integrative Systems + Design school within the College of Engineering.
