At 3i, Stephen focused on venture and growth capital investments into private companies across Enterprise Software, Hardware and Cleantech sectors.He was a Director within the 3i Venture Capital business until April 2008, when he joined the 3i Growth Capital team to focus on investing in technology-led companies. While at 3i, he successfully led and realised investments including UbiNetics (acquired by CSR and Aeroflex), Insensys (acquired by Schulmberger and Moog) and Respond (acquired by CDC Software). He has also led and actively supported current investments into Nujira, Icera and Light Blue Optics and worked on deal teams across Europe.
