I have worked in our family owned businesses from a young age and have spent the last 28 years as owner/funeral director of Brenan’s Funeral Home in Saint John. Brenan’s history has been of serving Saint John families since 1872 and that 24 hour 7 day a week service continues today. Our focus is “To honour the life that has been lived and care for the needs of family, friends and community”. This is delivered through an ongoing commitment to quality caring service that has allowed us to be the choice of many of Saint John’s families at their time of need.I believe that the strong partnerships I have with my brother Bill MacMackin and John W. Doyle has allowed us to grow by using everyone's strengths. The creation and growth of Select Community Funeral Homes is a result. Select believes in the future of funeral service by investing in a new generation of funeral directors by partnering with them to own funeral homes.I am a proud husband and a father to 4 great people. I am also a passionate duck hunter (my wife would call it a curse). My two boys are just as nuts about it as I am.My life has been about my community and I have involved myself in many organizations and projects that I believed would move us all forward. I have gotten back as much as I have given and it has made my life richer.
