1. Review financial activities of the project to ensure compliance to contract terms, donor rules and regulations.2. Audit field offices to ensure compliance to policies and complete documentation relating to the donor policies.3. Conduct a semi-annual review of operations to ensure compliance with policies and procedures as per SFH and donor rules on financial reporting, procurement, payroll, etc.4. Assist in the mid-year and annual stock count and fixed asset count.5. Investigate any fraud-related issues.

1. Assist to conduct quality check to make sure NRC & donor regulations are followed for all transactions under review including of finance, purchases, recruitment, payments etc.2. Assist to ensure that all financial transactions are coded with the correct Donor, account, activity and location codes as per standard chart of account.3. Assist to ensure that all vendors are vetted through Watchdog prior to payment.4. Assist to conduct spot checks for compliance and adherence to NRC and Donor guidelines.5. Support in ensuring proper audit trails are established for all procurement and financial documents.6. Assist in ensure that all financial documents are clearly stamped with Donor codes, paid stamp before archiving.7. Support in ensuring that NRC Nigeria is complying to all donor regulations in each transaction and highlight up in the line if something is not followed properly.8. Support in ensuring that program/ beneficiaries data correspond with financial and logistic reports.9. Support ensuring that Procurement, warehouse and Finance document backup system is in place and backup is being done for all documents as per NRC/Donor policies.10. Maintain filing record of Compliance & risk Unit.11. Assist in coordination with Area offices/field offices to complete the compliance review work effectively and efficiently.12. Support in “Securing Supporting Documentation” (SSDi) in line with duties assigned by line managerFollow up on any other duties as assigned by line manager.

Ensure that cash are kept properly, payment process and other financial processes take place in adherence to Financial Handbook, other NRC policies and donor and the authorities requirementsMake sure that daily cash counts are maintained.2. Make sure posting of transactions are done on daily basis.3. Make sure payments are processed on timeBe responsible for bank transactions in line with NRC policy and procedures; 4. Posting of income and cost into bank cash boxes i.e. USD and NGN daily basis.Be the focal person between Area Office and Field office in regard to funds transfer requests and other payments through bank.5. Ensure timely clearance of field office cash box.6. Be responsible for release of payment to contractors & other payments as stipulated in the contract/agreement(s) & in line with NRC policies and procedures.7. Ensure control for the prevention of waste, fraud and mismanagement before processing the payments.8. Keep good control of the Field offices, banks details and assist them with tools in use by NRC.Responsible for keeping of cash in office.9. Responsible for scanning and archiving finance documentation as per SSD guidelines for the Field Office on a weekly and monthly basis.

1. Ensure that all advances made within the month are justified before the final monthly cash count.2. Respect AAH purchasing procedures as per KLV3 when giving an advance and to report to Finance Officer and/or Finance Manager if these procedures are not respected.3. Ensure the physical cash box and the excel/Saga cash book corresponds with on a daily basis.4. Ensure all suppliers are paid according to terms designated in signed contracts.5. Check and ensure the quality of invoices, and report any missing invoices to the Finance Officer in his accountancy as well as the bases.6. Scan and upload all invoices and their amounts are present as from their reception and the coherence with the accountancy in Saga.7. After the monthly accounting closure check that the accounting codes, the project codes and the budget codes are accurate.8. Classify and split the invoices according to their budget lines if necessary, particularly when they have been used in various operations. At the end of the monthly accountancy closure, prepare the files to be sent to capital.9. Finalize the dispatch of files by adding labels and adequate packaging for the originals to be sent to capital.10. File and archive the copies in the base.
