In 1997 I interviewed with Accu-Tech Corporation which began a 20 plus year career in the telecom/datacom cabling industry. I navigated through the company for 12 years and gained valuable insight which still helps me today, both in my professional life as well as my personal life. It provided the momentum to build my career from Sales, to Marketing Director, back to Sales and into the role of Channel Manager for Hubbell Premise Wiring, where I am today. Every day in this role is a new adventure, being an integral component in promoting technology and conveying that message to Distributors, Integrators, Engineers and End Users; ultimately getting it into the marketplace.Creativity is critical to keeping my perspective in check. For a few years my outlet for this was independent movie production, consulting and short film acting. My next creative project is a book called "MotorTown's Blight & Beauty - Through the Lens of a Southern Transplant". It is my attempt to capture images of the amazing architecture and in some cases the subsequent demise and revitalization of that architecture in Detroit. My hope is to capture what Detroit was, what it became, and where it looks like it's going. All through the perspective of someone raised in a rural town in south Georgia.
