My current professional goal is to use my knowledge of analytical biochemistry (with the use of spectroscopic instruments in common use in the chemical laboratory, which includes HPLC, AA, UV-Vis, FTIR, MFS (or MPS) and ESI-MS.) in the development of new analytical methodologies, as well as the integration of new technologies into existing analytical procedures. Being a self-motivated problem solver, I enjoy engaging in challenging tasks of a scientifically relevant nature. Currently I am persuing a career as a medical doctor, and am currently interested in the effects of heavy metal ions on neurological processes from both a chronic and an acute standpoint.

Midi Orchestration Audio RendererUniversity Of Oklahoma, Dr. Kenneth Fuchs 2000 - 2001Norman, OklahomaUsing my skills at MIDI composition coupled with my to produce high-quality audio renderings of various orchestral works I was able to produce an audio recording of Eventide, a Concerto for English horn by Dr. Fuchs prior to the debut of the piece with the London Philharmonic. The piece was recorded using virtual instruments, and tracks with, and without the English horn lead part were provided to the soloist, JoAnn Falletta which aided them in learning the piece prior to the initial rehearsals. Other recordings produced in this manner include a piano quintet, various compositions for woodwind ensembles, as well as an original concerto for guitar and small orchestra. These recordings are made using VST virtual instruments in a digital multitrack environment such as Cubase, or Digital Performer. Emhasis was placed on using VST plugins which used libraries of actual instrumental samples instead of synth based FM or analog synthesis methods of instrumental intonation. -
