Constructionlines is an independent builders merchant founded in 2006 by Phil Shaw, Steve Tame and myself; we are not tied to any particular supplier or national chain of merchants. Operating from a 6 acre site in Loscoe, Derbyshire we supply heavy side building materials to ground workers throughout the Midlands and beyond on our fleet of HGV’s. Constructionlines is an expanding company and would be interested to hear from industry experienced individuals, whether that be in sales, transport or warehousing.My role oversees the company's accounts and credit checking functions. Additionally, I maintain the company's IT systems and have extensive experience with Windows based servers and network installations. I'm experienced with VOIP telephone solutions and various software packages including Access, Excel, Merlin and Sage accounting packages. I can design, deliver and maintain websites being able to program in HTML and ASPX as well as understanding newer technologies like Wordpress.

Mortgages-Online, as the name suggests, is a mortgage broker dedicated to delivering mortgage advice via remote means; telephone, email and Internet. Initially trading as IFA-Online, we were arguably the UK's first dedicated online financial adviser. Our success in the mortgage market eventually led to a name change and the company became Mortgages-Online and a top five producer in the Midlands. I have experienced the highs of success and the lows of a recession that decimated financial services; the mortgage industry shrank by two thirds, leading to difficult decisions to make loyal long serving staff redundant. While not a situation I would want to experience again it did serve to help me understand when and why difficult decisions have to be taken to ensure business survival. An excellent communicator and comfortable in front of any customer, competitor or supplier.
