Worked on solutions to assist teams across Mitie to move to cloud services including: connected workspace and IoT, data lake storage and analysis, reporting, customer API and contractual workflow.This role included: working on acquisitions and divestments, presenting to senior business leaders, contract negotiations and a lot of communication with end users at all levels, understanding their problems and educating on how technology could help. Hands-on work included building proofs of concept to showcase new technologies and test solution options, involving everything from writing serverless functions in .NET through to using codeless workflow tools, building webpages and creating ML models.
