As a member of Slippery Rock University I have been a student-athlete with the men's intercollegiate soccer team. I have been a member of the team since 2012 and have loved the opportunity to both compete on the field and in the classroom. In 2013 Slippery Rock won the PSAC (Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference) championship and competed in the NCAA Division II National Championship.I am an avid traveler and have been to cities such as Orlando, Atlanta, Los Angeles, Manhattan, Detroit, Charlotte, and Chicago. Along with these American cities I have also had the opportunity to travel internationally to countries such as Slovenia, Italy, Scotland, and the Netherlands. Getting to know, understand, and immerse myself in other cultures has been an important characteristic of my life.Being a student at Slippery Rock has given me a greater knowledge of how communication transpires in the media and in our lives. Taking classes in social media, public relations, digital imaging, and persuasion have prepared me for my future endeavors. In the Spring of 2016, I will be graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications.
