About Stephen Meek
10 years ago, in the middle of an International Relations degree aimed to take me into political consulting, I joined a sketch comedy group that upended everything. With 9 members of Divine Comedy, I started the unexpectedly successful TV show Studio C, which reached over 2.5 billion views in the course of 6 years. With these same close friends, I started a production company that has specialized in safe-for-work comedy, releasing sketches, sitcoms (Freelancers, Loving Lyfe), and, most recently, our first feature film (Go West). Mid-pandemic, I also directed Stop and Go, a COVID-era road trip comedy that premiered at SXSW. Becoming a filmmaker has been as unexpected as it has been rewarding, but above all, I'm grateful political consulting never sunk it's claws into me. And with that! I would like to announce my candidacy...
