Employed by Wartsila as project Manager. I have managed LSGO conversion Project of LNG Tankers for BP Shipping. Reporting to Manager of Projects, I am responsible for delivering Project on a Turnkey basis. Consisting of LNG Trader Class vessels, my role was to develop the Engineering package, obtain design Approval and Classification Approvals, as well as management of all procurement and liaison with Kawasaki Heavy Industries and other key suppliers for the procurement of essential equipments. The Project Schedule is created and managed using MS Project tools. As Project Manager I was responsible for installation and Commissioning of system onboard, utilizing an international workforce in various Shipyards around the world, Installations must be carried out within strict docking timescales, presenting a challenge logistically in arranging all necessary materials, equipment and manpower on location to ensure installation is carried out in accordance with plan. Typical workforce at install is around 70 direct personnel, with Management support.

I initially joined Cylingas as Projects & Construction Manager & was promoted to current position after 6 months. As QHSE Leader for Nico Doosan Babcock JV, I had responsibility for all QHSE related matters in the JV offices in Dubai & Singapore. The joint venture was involved in Marine Boiler Repair, Land Boiler outages and new MGO installations on vessels to ensure they meet legislative requirement to reduce sulphur emissions below 0.1%. I also managed projects including an MGO conversion undertaken on an Oil Tanker; whilst on voyage from Bermuda to destination in Rotterdam, Netherlands. As well as a Superheated Steam line Repair in Arabian Gulf requiring welding, PWHT & Radiography to be done during voyage. Management of these projects involves multi- national workforces, hands on problem solving, as well as being able to establish relationships with Ship Crew and report to both Company & Client Management
