As the agency’s first dedicated on-staff grant writer and manager, I lead the procurement of grant funding—maintaining 67% catch rate while increasing funding by 73%—to support capital projects and capacity building as well as services and programs for homeless, at-risk and low-income Orange County residents.Cultivates and manages extensive portfolio of grant funders incl. federal, state and local government, private foundation, corporate foundations, and community foundations. Has created and implemented comprehensive grants management system, streamlining and improving proposal writing, submissions, reporting, and pre-and-post award compliance across programs, finance, operations, and administrative departments. Develops measurable outcomes and objectives for grant proposals in collaboration with program team, successfully aligning internal data tracking, HUD performance measures and funder requirements. Serves as HMIS Agency Administrator, supervising HMIS user training and recertification, providing technical assistance, overseeing annual HMIS audit, and administering data quality measures to ensure compliance with HUD policies, procedures and performance thresholds. Leads ongoing data tracking and collection, generating detailed reports, internal performance dashboards, and impact reports for external stakeholders to guide programmatic decision-making and achieve organizational goals.
