I help companies ensure that the most important things get decided on, then accomplished.At Flashbots this means working with our leadership team on decisionmaking practices, and running more or less all of the "business side" operations functions. Flashbots is a $1b company helping build core infrastructure for Ethereum that mitigates the negative externalities from MEV.At Zapier, I ran the Business Operations (Biz Ops) team and was the Exec Sponsor for our Pricing and Packaging workstream. In Biz Ops we worked across the company to move the most important company initiatives forward. This can mean anything from owning company OKRs to taking on a solo Proof of Concept for a new product to backfilling important folks on parental leave. Over my time at Zapier, we've run the company Weekly Business Review and Monthly Business Review system, annual strategic planning, sales, pricing strategy and monetization, legacy migration program, ARR forecasting, recruiting operations, and other special projects. As long as we’re helping the company accomplish its goals, we’re doing a good job.By ensuring alignment with the business strategy up, down, and across the organization, we’ve helped Zapier sustain terrific MRR growth (up 600%) while maintaining profitability.Previously, I led data analytics for Sestra Systems - a company that designs, manufactures, and distributes IoT-connected on tap beverage dispensing systems, and Speek, an online conference call company.I had my first taste of the business world by running a small tutoring organization while a student at TJHSST. In product terms, this means analyses on user retention, modeling out the impact of feature additions, or figuring out ways to accelerate in-product usage adoption. My product analyses have helped us identify and focus on our most valuable loyal users and lower revenue churn by 50% in recent months. On the marketing front, we look at CPA/LTV metrics to determine profitable marketing channels and make sure to segment them appropriately.
