Manages the development and implementation of a company’s products and services. Coordinates departmental or cross-functional teams, focused on the delivering of new or upgrading existing products. Monitors the project from initiation through delivery including planning and directing schedules and monitoring budget/spending. Organizes cross-functional activities, ensuring completion of the project. Offers support and technical assistance to Manufacturing Technicians in the production area. Apply engineering theory and principles to problems of industrial layout or manufacturing production, usually under the direction of engineering staff. May study and record time, motion, method, and speed involved in performance of production, maintenance, clerical, and other worker operations for such purposes as establishing standard production rates or improving efficiency. Modify and maintain facilities to improve production efficiency.
