About Stephen Watson
Currently working for Colchester Borough Homes having successfully transferred our teams' data from existing network drives to the SharePoint platform and then migrated those teams to New Experience. I've created presentations and demonstrations, built new systems and guided teams through the adoption and upgradeprocess. I'm additionally producing documentation for these processes.I worked for 23 years as an analyst/programmer, most of that time using 'C' and with database based application. I mostly worked with UNIX but had some exposure to Windows programming and am looking to extend that through my current studies.Independently I've written four iOS apps which are available on the App Store and I'm planning a fifth and currently starting to learn Swift.I left IT in 2006 order to do something different with my life - working to be part of the solution rather than the problem. I've followed a number of paths witch, despite promising starts, led to dead ends so I am still following those ideas in addition to re-using my previous skills, learning new ones and considering moving into new areas such as teaching.I've currently started learning C#, ASP.NET and all that goes along with that to which end I've even installed Windows on my Macintosh - something I thought I'd never see!
