Supporting a HR Business Partner, this role entails the management of queries from the entire employee lifecycle. The role requires interpretation of multiple industrial instruments (EBA, Awards) in answering employee queries. Whilst predominantly HR focused, the role does require some focus on talent acquisition activities as well.

This team manages courses dealing with accreditation and compliance. I manage a suite of online and face to face courses to accredit bankers and also a suite of online courses to ensure that NAB employees are compliant, with legislative and regulatory requirements. I was able to simplify programs, increase Net Promoter Score and participation rates, and innovate to build the foundation for a new induction program. I also delivered a substantial cost and time saving to NAB in the migration from SAP to Successfactors. I identified that we could use system functionality in Successfactors which would remove deployment and testing time frames from 2 weeks to 1 day. This functionality also removes the need to engage third party vendors to remediate 200+ assessments saving a minimum of $100,000.

In this role I supported our offshore internal HR Call Centre by clarifying policy and processes. This required knowledge and understanding of the NAB policies and their Enterprise Agreement. I supported the team operationally by looking at their metrics and addressing key topics around quality on a weekly basis. This required constant monitoring of their work and weekly coaching and alignment conversations. Strategies were also developed in pursuit of those goals. As a Process Lead, I was also accountable for ensuring our processes are efficient. This required a constant appetite for continuous improvement in identifying, engaging and delivering these projects. This enabled further study in Six Sigma Yellow Belt as well as iGrafx (process mapping) training. This required constant engagement and communication with stakeholders who own the processes. The role did require the administration and support of the NAB's Learning Management System. I supported NAB's global network in SABA before NAB switched to SAP Learning. I have also been part of the project team as NAB migrates to Successfactors in 2018.

In this role I provided administrative support to our transition coaches. I provided redundancy letters and also estimated retrenchment figures when required. At certain times, I was also required to process the retrenchment in SAP. Given the nature of the work, high attention to detail and accuracy was required. I helped the team devise a simplified calculator to remove much of the manual calculations. This helped me win an award and attend an awards night.
