· Responsible for the transfer of Materials, the selection and approval of local Suppliers within Emerging Regions.· Responsible for a spend in excess of $23 million throughout Europe and Asia.· Negotiation of Global Supply Agreements and formalise contracts.· Purchasing Mentor to our facility in Shenzhen, China. · Inventory Champion; successfully reduced inventory by 50% (£300k) in first year of implementation.· SAP (ERP computer system) implementation team. Purchasing data cleansing and Supplier communication. (11 month secondment to Honeywell Newhouse Scotland)· Travel to suppliers and other production facilities; particularly throughout Asia, USA and Europe.
