Trainee Engineer• Monitor and control process variables such as flows, temperatures and pressures within accetable ranges from the DCS. (distributed control system) on six different plants; demin plant, cooling towers, ngl processing unit, air compressors, air seperation unit (asu), caustic disssolving /acid injection facility.• Monitors all consumables such as N2 gas, boiler feed water, caustic soda, sulphuric acid, portable water, NGL are supplied at appropriate flowrates and pressure after been initiated both on the DCS and on the field.• Ensures that boiler feed water is properly treated and meet the required standards,by carrying out regeneration of cation and anion exchangers, mixed bed polishers and back washing of activated carbon filters,gravity sand filters both in the field and on the dcs.
