2003 to 2010Part of a virtual team based; development support for business systems supporting the IT community across Johnson & Johnson worldwide.Developed a system to migrate data from a legacy document management system to a new one using SQL Server 2008 Integration ServicesDeveloped a prototype Web site for an internal billing system using Visual Studio 2008 to help clarify business requirementDeveloped reports to allow legacy IT Service Management data to be reported after the system itself was shut down using Cognos Report StudioPlayed a key role in developing a system to load configuration data in bulk into a BMC* Remedy based Configuration Management database giving savings of around $200K per annum.Provided technical input into the development of an internal billing system for the EMEA region.Provided technical support for the IT Service Management system. This meant at times liaising with people across the world, e.g. Australia, South America as well as Europe and the USA.Played a key role in integrating data from external systems with the IT Service Management system; in particular the corporate people directory and IT discovery systems. Determined authoritative data sources for that system, and if necessary managing such data. This involved using Informatica PowerCenter to overcome some limitations in the data integration services offered by Remedy.Played a key role in supporting the previous IT Service Management system, also Remedy based and, using Visual Studio, developing software update to its people information from the corporate people database.Developed a scorecard system for the IT infrastructure team across Johnson & Johnson Using Cognos Metrics Studio. This included developing a Web site using Visual Studio to allow data input from Excel spreadsheets.

Part of a team providing IT infrastructure and software development support to Ortho Clinical Diagnostics and other UK and Ireland based Johnson & Johnson companies.Provided IT technical support to the above-mentioned companies, particularly during the migration from Windows 95 and other legacy operating systems to Windows 2000.Developed installation scripts using InstallShield for OCD's internally developed applications and deploy Year 2000 patches.Played a key role in developing the feed from OCD's HR system to the corporate people directory.Developed an extranet Web site to allow OCD to provide data to its customers.

Provided IT technical support to the Clinical Diagnostics division of Amersham International PLC, which was, during that time, sold first to Kodak and then later to Johnson & Johnson to become part of Ortho Clinical Diagnostics. It involved a wide range of IT related activities
