The most common question I get, even from long-time friends and relatives is, "Stephen, what exactly do you DO for a living"? With over 21 years of experience in the merchant services industry, I know how important it is to have customers processing as secure and efficient as possible. While being employed as a RM for a public payment processing company, I felt a serious lack in this industry of interchange knowledge and customer service and decided to devote more time to sales and data security. I collaborate with retail, emerging markets, auto dealers, B2B, Vacation Clubs, Insurance providers, and others in lowering their processing fees with Interchange Optimization and Level II/III but more importantly securing them with EMV, Validated P2PE, EBPP, PCI compliancy, 3D Secure, Verified By Visa/MasterCard SecurePay along with tokenization and software integrations (i.e Microsoft AX, Bluebird, Infor, CDK, TSD, Prosperity, Accumatica, INXSQL and more) with CenPOS. The payment space has evolved and I continue to train and certify with the latest PCI requirements. Even though my background started with merchant services in serving hotel chains and restaurants with very specialized chargeback modules, instant notifications, complex gift programs and interchange qualifications monitoring, I continue to expand my portfolio in the T&E industry. I have also helped several large clients that are considered high risk or are having challenges with domestic and international processing solutions. Not only has my experience allowed me to stand out in a crowd of sales brokers, but my reputation as a trustworthy associate has helped me earn plenty of new relationships.
