My thesis was concerned with the development of new constitutive models, describing novel energy absorbing cellular materials. These models are implemented using the finite element method.

I have presented revision lecture material focused on engineering mechanics to 1st year undergraduate engineers in preparation for their course examinations. In addition I was heavily involved in the design, preparation, and delivery of laboratory practicals for 1st year engineers. Other responsibilities included assigning marks to the work carried out by the students during these practicals.
