I started my career as custom chip designer at Texas Instruments. After a successful chip design career, I moved into high technology marketing, Most of my career has been connected to the semiconductor industry with a couple of forays into the consumer electronics industry. Since 1984 have specialized in launching start-up companies. Since 2002, most of my efforts have been under my consulting company: SRP Enterprises. I have deep marketing and sales skills in the consumer, semiconductor IP and EDA industries. I pick up and understand new technologies quickly because of my custom chip design background. I was Chairman of the ESD Alliance Emerging Companies Committee for many years and was the organizer of the “Jim Hogan-EDAC Emerging Company Issue” series.I began my career working for Texas Instruments, a semiconductor company and In 2014 I went back to work for a back-end semiconductor company by running sales and marketing for Semi-Pac, a Silicon Valley developer of advanced packaging technology and a quick turn prototype provider. I also managed sales and marketing for AiPac and Sanida.Recently, I joined LogiSwitch as the VP of Sales and Marketing. This is an exciting new challenge to use my business and engineering skills to work in guiding LogiSwitch into the market.In the past, I worked for Uniquify, a semiconductor design house. I managed Uniquify’s inside sales and a world-wide sales rep network. I ran world-wide marketing, business development and sales outside of APAC for S2C. Prior to joining S2C, I was an independent marketing and sales consultant with a primary focus on launching emerging companies. My EDA clients included: Anasift, Beach Software, Cadence Design Systems, IC Manage, JEDA Technologies, S2C, and VCX Software. My consumer electronics clients included Adaptive Sound Technologies and HiBox.
