I was responsible for utilizing multiple internal systems to process master data and generate SAP materials. This involved heavy engagement with different business units and vendors to ensure the correct information was obtained and generated. Although my role had a set parameter of responsibilities, my skillset in analytics and data interpretation expanded my duties heavily. I completed numerous inventory reports identifying trends surrounding spend, inventory net value change, and purchase order history. This included a five-year inventory growth analysis that was presented to the VP of operations.

During my three work terms with Husky in the Supply Chain Management department, I was given a wide variety of responsibilities which led me to obtain a full-time contract position before graduation. The two main areas of responsibility surrounded materials management and contract management. I completed extensive inventory reporting and was responsible for completing vendor KPIs; being the first point of contact regarding any issues or updates concerning materials ordered. My analytical skills were utilized not only through completing inventory reporting, but also creating a detailed workflow for identifying material availability and work order priority for offshore personnel. A major component of materials management is warehouse management, where I developed a Warehouse Safety Review and Inspection Document for internal audits and completed these audits at multiple facilities. I also became responsible for supporting contractual services for material and service agreements. This included evaluating bid proposals, analyzing bid submissions, preparing award recommendations, negotiate contract terms, and executing amendments.
