• Conduct new hire orientation for all newly hired union associates• Partner with Store management and department heads to identify staffing needs• Schedule and conduct interviews • Ensure all associates receive structured training by ensuring department managers support training and development. • Schedule, organize, and drive the development of employees through coaching, feedback, and performance evaluations• Attending weekly department manager meetings to discuss training, audit concerns, staffing challenges, and recognizing associate performance• Drive associate engagement by coordinating associate appreciation days, associates of the month, and recognition boards• Act as a community support leader through coordinating community engagement activities (Store tours, A+ Bonus rewards, job/career fairs, and events unique to the store and community)• Conduct compliance audits and participate in action planning with store management

Maintain accurate cash drawer in a high volume store Supervise the training of new cashiers and cash department headsWork as a closing cashier, responsible for preparing the store for the following work dayCoordinate front-end activities in order to increase customer satisfaction including handling complaintsConduct daily auditing reports on all cashiers to ensure the registers are balancedDelegate duties among cashiers to finish all required tasks
