As the Chief External Relations Officer at NPower, I lead the strategic direction and execution of the organization's fundraising, partnership, government relations and alumni engagement efforts, with the goal of advancing its mission to create pathways to economic prosperity for young adults from underserved communities and veterans. I bring over 20 years of experience and expertise in the nonprofit sector, specializing in fundraising, capital campaign management, planned giving, marketing, and government relations.Prior to joining NPower, I served as the Senior Vice President for External Relations at College Possible, where I oversaw a team of 40 professionals and managed a budget of $15 million. I was responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive external relations strategy that increased the organization's visibility, revenue, and impact. Under my leadership, we secured multiple major gifts and grants, launched a successful national marketing campaign, and strengthened our partnerships with key stakeholders. In recognition of my outstanding fundraising professional accomplishment and service, I received the 2021 John S. Lore Outstanding Fundraising Executive Award.
