Stephen spent the majority of his time with Genesys Spine managing processes related to quality assurance. He Managed the inspection of all medical devices that led to an increase in corporate productivity and assertively ensured all operations for regulatory compliance were consistent with FDA mandates. Using his experience as an engineer he developed a streamlined solution process decreasing inspection time of returned and new devices. Some other accomplishments include - Initiated Engineering Change Notices and SOP’s to increase manufacturing productivity - Created and revised all implant and instrument labels to be FDA, UDI and HIBCC compliant

• Wrote and directed eight test protocols/methods to help understand biocompatibility of Orbera • Researched the advanced characteristics of the Overstich needle using SEM and ASM• Completed a Quality Protocol for verification use on the Orbera Intragastric Balloon
