It all started back in 2015 when I realized the traditional cause marketing model was broken.Charities were stuck in a cycle of chasing donations through one-off campaigns, struggling to get the lasting marketing support they needed. There had to be a better way.That sparked an idea: What if impact could be woven into every customer journey and transaction? What if supporting a cause could be as simple and routine as buying your morning coffee? So, I partnered with Dick Hillenbrand, and together we set out to create Inspired—a platform where every purchase could unlock a donation, creating a continuous cycle of giving back.Today, Inspired partners with brands, charities, and donors, making it easier than ever for customers to support great causes with every purchase – at no extra cost to the brand or the customer. It’s a win-win-win for everyone: charities receive the funding and visibility they need, brands align themselves with meaningful causes, and consumers feel good knowing their everyday purchases are making a difference. Since the inception of Inspired, the journey has been anything but easy. We’ve faced countless challenges, obstacles, and years of building and refining our approach. But one thing has never changed: our mission to create a world where doing good is a part of everyday life.I can’t say enough about our incredible Inspired team, who have stood by this vision through every trial and rebuilding period. Together, we’ve been steadfastly committed to uniting cause and commerce for good—and we’ve made it happen.
