Hi, my name is Stephen Farley. I am a senior from Sayreville, NJ studying Supply Chain & Information Systems within the Smeal College of Business. During my sophomore year of college, I completed a 7-month Supply Chain Co-Op at The Hershey Company, where I strategically managed outbound shipments from manufacturing plants to distribution centers and identified cost-saving opportunities. This past summer, I interned at Textron Systems in Wilmington, MA as a Production Planner. At Penn State, I am the 2024 Vice President of Sigma Chi Mu Tau, the Supply Chain Research Honor Society. Additionally, I am involved in the Sapphire Leadership Academic Program where I held a chair position in an already high achieving organization. I’m also an active brother within Delta Sigma Pi Professional Business Fraternity - Alpha Gamma Chapter, which serves as a great network to get involved in philanthropy and provides a stepping stone in my professional development. Due to my undergraduate accomplishments, I also serve as a Smeal Student Mentor to be a valuable resource for the current freshmen on campus. My leadership and involvement within the Smeal College of Business and Penn State has helped motivate me to continue to learn and develop as an aspiring Supply Chain professional and leader.
