Serve as principal staff officer and subject matter expert for all matters concerning digital and voice network operations and information management (C4 operations). Responsible for advising the commander, staff and subordinate commanders on C4 operations. Liaison between Battalion (BN) and higher headquarters Signal Officer. Coordinate and de-conflict signal asset placement within the BN area of operations (AO). Provide signal overlays to support communications coverage and dead space in BN AO. Ensured the integration and standardization of SOPs, policies, plans, programs and services. Managed the weekly and monthly reports for the Governor and Mayor Cells. Determined requirements and allocation of resources, both for life sustainment and for new and ongoing projects. Compiled readiness records and reports as appropriate. Assisted the Mayor Cells in identifying readiness status shortfalls and providing assistance to the Governor for improving readiness. Implemented company-wide helpdesk/ticketing system using GLPI open-source software, which processed over 10,000 tickets and averaged over 400 tickets a month.
