 Led a customer focused team of professionals who understand customer requirements and develop capability solutions using advanced technologies and products in support of a Long-Range Plan in excess of $8B. Expanded this successful growth strategy to US INDO- Pacific Command and its component commands, and to US European Command and its components. Organized a unique and collaborative approach to grow Raytheon business in the Army market by leveraging radical changes to US Army acquisition organization and processes; has resulted in significantly greater trust and influence among key Army customers, and competitive advantages in key program pursuits. Face of Raytheon to Army leadership from Secretary of the Army and Chief of Staff of the Army and their staffs to Army warfighters and field commanders. Includes leading Raytheon preparation and participation in multiple national trade shows, media and think tank interaction, and participation in industry associations and representation as subject matter expert on panels.

• Commanded the third largest employer in the state of Washington; executed an annual payroll of $5.8 billion; programmed, prioritized and allocated an annual appropriated budget of $590 million and a contracting budget of $285 million to support global strategic objectives. • Governed and led a community comprised of 156,000 service members and civilians, on 414,000 acres of training land, and three airfields supported by 46 departments through 258 services. • Maintained Corps readiness during a 30% reduction in funding, emphasizing accountability and cost management through Program Budget Advisory Committees and Joint Reviews. • Fostered strategic stability throughout the Indo-Asia Pacific Region including Australia, South Korea, Japan and India.• Represented the Department of Defense and JBLM through an integrated community relations strategy with local, state and federal officials and partners. • Orchestrated initiatives leading to a 14% decrease in the number of unemployed transitioning veterans; collaborated on an initiative which culminated in the establishment of the first America’s Job Center on a US military installation, which effectively brought key businesses, unions, corporate mentors and job employment fairs to JBLM; program resulted in timely employment and over 55% of veterans staying in their area of the northwest.

• Partnered with leadership of the U.S. Embassy Iraq, the government of Iraq, inter-agency and multi-national parties, and international institutions to enhance Iraq’s governance, economy, basic services and public communications. • Linked military operations to political and legislative initiatives to develop a sovereign government of Iraq. • Also served as the Spokesman for the forces in Iraq.
