During my time as Depot Manager I managed people, processes and systems. This post brought to the fore my people management skills, my organisational and my analytical abilities. I exercised my technical and IT skills during this time and used my problem-solving ability on a strategic and tactical level. Financial reporting was a large portion of my duties and these reports were submitted to the head office. Henred Fruehauf Parts is a company that supplies spares and accessories to the commercial truck and trailer industry.• Responsible for managing the daily operation of the parts depot• Responsible for managing the sales team in the depot and ensuring that targets were met.• Daily/Weekly/Monthly Reporting – Ensuring that all sales profitability reports and key product reports are submitted to head office on a daily basis.• Managing the weekly ordering of stock from our main supply warehouse as well as over a dozen external suppliers.• Maintain an existing client base of over 150 customers.

I manage the day to day running of our projects with Neotel and operations revolving around them.While in the Senior Project Manager position, I grew my labour relations, staffing, process improvement, analysis and planning skill set. The post required a great deal of interaction with municipal offices and I learned a great deal about Municipal systems and the law governing them. The post also required me to develop my administrative management skills while managing my time and stock controls. Working with the children at the Christian Academy was a very rewarding position, especially dealing with the Life Orientation programme which readies the children for their lives going forward. Over and above this I believe that fit and healthy children achieve more academically, and I took pride in heading the schools Physical Training programme. Sports/Convention Coordinator & Life Orientation Teacher AssistantThis was a local Christian School that I ran the sports program for and Life Orientation for.• I was responsible for coordinating all Physical Training for the whole school from Gr1 to Gr12.• I was responsible for all after school sport from Gr1 to Gr12.• I was responsible for the weekly Life Orientation classes for Gr8 to Gr12.• I was our school’s Coordinator for the All Africa Student Convention that took place in Bloemfontein every year.

As a research assistant I grew my technical knowledge and understanding of how raw materials are manipulated for industrial, infrastructure and the construction industry. The post instilled in me an attention to detail and developed my love for the construction industry. This was an Industrial Ceramics Research company.
