• Remain up to date on new safety-related regulations, safety equipment and personal protective equipment (PPE).• Ensure written safety programs are reviewed and kept current. Communicate changes to team members.• Be an active participant in the local safety committee meetings.• Lead and direct safety and environmental audits, incident investigations and other activities as needed throughout the facility.• Serve as the local expert resource for environmental compliance issues, including a thorough understanding of the facility’s environmental permits, hazardous waste management, stormwater, SPCC, and other applicable state and federal regulatory requirements.• Maintain permit-required recordkeeping for a variety of environmental programs.• Lead and/or participate in team-established guidelines to identify root cause analysis of environmental, health and safety concerns.• Collect data, manage filing systems of the EH&S management systems, and maintain training records for each team member.

• Facilitates Kaizen and Lean Manufacturing projects aimed at generating Lean/CI techniques, cost reductions, and process performance improvements • Maintain Lean/CI implementation schedules for assigned projects, progress updates as required, and most importantly, provide documentation that demonstrates the direct link between Lean/CI implementation and direct process improvement and Plant Operations • Provide Lean/CI training and coaching at all levels of the Plant • Assists Managers and individual Lean/Continuous Improvement Initiatives • Participate on and lead teams aimed at the resolution of quality issues and concerns • Support production control, material control, material planning departments in improvement projects relating to scheduling inventory management and raw material flow and tracking • Coordinate prototype and pilot runs to address design and process feasibility concerns from a departmental aspect • Interface with plant engineering on projects addressing staffing, manpower, time and capacity issues • Generate, provide and participate in department specific training issues • Calculate cost reductions and/or various analyses to determine optimal method • Team with the Plant Controller to document savings and profit results of continuous improvement activities • Accountable for tracking all lean, CI Projects, and reporting progress out to plant staff • Complete time studies to develop production standards for products • Assist in monitoring department equipment (OEE) and interface with Maintenance department to identify maintenance, repair, PM needs and TPM • Develops value stream map for each process and each value stream family within the facility • Complies with policies and procedures pertaining to facility or Quality standards such as AS 9100• Utilizes the concepts of continuous improvement and cost reduction in the execution of the job function

• Provide employee relations guidance to employees and offer advice to management within scope of position; identify and actively respond with sensitivity to the needs of employees and business unit leaders• Oversee the day-to-day support of Human Resources (HR) transactions management in collaboration with Operations team• Ensure compliance with state and federal laws and regulations; assess and understand recent and changing employment-related laws and guidelines and communicate that information to employees • Communicate and administer updated HR policies and procedures to assigned area• Deliver benefits information to employees based on company handbook/policies and procedures• Ensure fair, equitable and consistent application of all company policies and procedures• Assist with investigating a variety of employee-related issues, incidents and complaints; resolve disputes and recommend appropriate/remedial actions• Provide all new hire orientation• Assist in the development and implementation of programs or information regarding HR policies, procedures or information• Support HR Recruiting team and hiring managers by developing requisitions, scheduling interviews, presenting offers, facilitating candidate logistics, scheduling onboarding and administering the training/orientation process• Support a values-driven environment through consultation and service regarding employee engagement activities• Maintain ongoing compliance with all HR regulations and communicate any changes to the management team• Serve as the subject matter expert and provide guidance to employees and leadership as required

• Train, supervise, delegate, and evaluate work assignments of 10 student staff members• Manage and process revenue for intramural sports fees• Provide nightly reports to director to make sure everything is running smooth• File membership forms, intramural sports forms, & receipts• Execute data entry on student memberships• Answer and direct phone calls and provide information about events, fitness classes, & memberships• Enforce and follow recreational sports policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of students• Design, market, coordinate, implement and evaluate new and existing intramural and recreational opportunities for students, faculty and staff on the IUPUI campus
