Teaching computer-related topics full-time for the College of Business of regional university, first year was a one-year appointment, renewed for a second year and third year. Courses taught include:- BUS206, Fundamentals of Problem Solving with Excel, a new course to serve as first computer course in business core, students study a problem-solving methodology and gain extensive skills in Excel software, and complete challenging math/logic problem sets. Taught both online and in person, as well as large enrollment online sections.- BUS304, Essentials of MIS, a redesigned course that serves as second computer course in business core, students study the application of IT systems to business management, with refresher work in Microsoft Excel and Access. Taught both online and in person, as well as large enrollment online sections.- CIS212, Introduction to CIS, a legacy course (replaced by BUS206) that served as the first computer course for the business core and gave students an overview of IT for personal productivity and skill building labs in Microsoft Office software. Taught online and in person.- CIS240, Introduction to Web Information Systems, a base requirement in the CIS program that gives skills in HTML and CSS for website development.- CIS340, Electronic Commerce Tools/Technology, a second course in website development exposing students to JavaScript programming as a tool for website interactivity.Other Accomplishments in this appointment:- Successfully completed “PD2”, a professional development course presented by EKU’s Instructional Design Center, to advance faculty skills in online teaching.- Successfully developed the new BUS206 course (see above description).- Successfully redesigned a revised BUS304 course (see above description).- Serving in 22-23 year as chair of College of Business Technology Committee, and member of University Academic Integrity Committee Faculty (Representative of College of Business).

Computer Information Systems Department

Adjunct faculty position at Eastern Kentucky University starting Fall 2011, teaching general education electives in Computer Information Systems, CSC123, "Exploring Virtual Worlds", and CSC307 "Cyberspace Security and Ethics", courses with lectures, student discussion, and labs. Teaching CIS212, "Introduction to Computer Information Systems" in the College of Business. Extensive use of Blackboard system for student interaction, online testing, discussions and grading.

Member of the founding management team for a large Tier II automotive manufacturing plant green field start-up project. Responsible from inception for network server setup and administration, secure operations with firewall and web filter, data redundancy with daily backups, user training and support, IT budget and project planning and management, IT vendor management, support to approximately 60 users in Microsoft Dynamics AX 4.0 environment with mix of Windows XP, Vista and 7 and Office 2003, 2007 and 2010. Additional responsibilities in company car fleet administration, copiers, landline phone system, and 45 user cell phone account administration. Supervision of one IT Engineer who specializing in development and operations of the Dynamics AX ERP system. Migration to AX version 2012 in April 2016.

Responsible for accurate monthly financial statements for three sports marketing properties, monthly profit and loss variance analyses, balance sheet reconciliations, budget planning and administration, coding payables, revenue and expense projections and forecasts, working with corporate controller to fulfill auditor requests for quarterly audited financial statements; additional responsibilities in administration of online sales system and print shop floor management software system.

Assisted management of UK clinical business enterprise. Special projects such as implementation of electronic medical record infrastructure, setting up new clinical practices, implementing physician clinical performance incentive bonus programs, creating and implementing comprehensive accrual-based accounting systems for multiple departments. Working with department administrators and staff, faculty physicians and other clinical staff, external vendors and consultants. Also responsible for financial reporting for clinical and academic department with approximately $30m annual revenues. Develop departmental budget, financial and cost analyses, detailed monthly unit financial statements, and provide supervision of departmental accounting staff.
