• With direction from the Chief Architect, engineered the Windows infrastructure for the UES project. This project services the TWIC enrollment program, and the TSA Precheck program. This included designing the Active Directory hierarchy. Constructing all security Group Policies as per DHS and TSA STIGs for the servers and the workstations. Working with the Security team to validate the design and remediate any security vulnerabilities, and to confirm we are in compliance. Designing the PKI for the system. Creating a base image windows 7 image and designing deployment for the workstation system wide (about 800). Working with the network team to ensure windows firewalls, and hardware firewalls work well together. Worked with Linux engineers to design a homogeneous communication between the Application and Management systems. Designed a support portal for the helpdesk using MS Remote Desktop Services. Configured and maintained RSA Authentication Manager for two factor login to all Windows Systems. Designed and wrote Powershell scripts to maintain the system including file maintenance, patching, user provisioning, and software deployment. Helped design Powershell scripts to stand up DR/UAT instances.• With what we learned from UES, Engineered the Windows infrastructure for UEP, which is a SaaS program rolled out to various States for enrollment services. This included the same duties as designing UES, but an expanded version that will service 50 times as many enrollments when completed, so it had to scale up exponentially. Worked with the rest of the Systems team to discover and design a Configuration Management solution using Ansible and Powershell.• Along with the rest of the Systems team we would manage and support legacy company offerings and designed the transfer of some of these systems to newer infrastructure, or to roll the application into existing infrastructure to a new vertical.

• Completed an install of VMWare ESX 4.1 on two hosts and an Equalogic SAN. Converted many physical machines to virtual, and built a Windows 2008 R2 and SQL 2008 cluster in that virtual environment. • Assisted Dell Contractors migrated three legacy domains into one. After the migration, this domain supported over 6000 users. We used the Quest Migration Management software to complete this migration. My role consisted of standing up domain controllers at the corporate sites that needed them, and managing the desktop authority logon script environment for all users and sites.• Implemented a Network Load Balancing solution using F5 Big-IP local traffic managers. I successfully load balanced Exchange webmail, Citrix Access Gateways, Microsoft SharePoint, Two different EMR packages including Greenway Primesuite and iMedica, and numerous company websites.• Implemented a user group policy to lockdown windows XP machines at Clinics. These machines consisted of laptops, tablets, desktops and scanners.• Completed a project to team all 250 physical servers in the datacenter for network fail-over.• Created the install image for all Windows 2003 and Windows 2008 physical or virtual servers that were to be commissioned on the enterprise.• Assisted in a Data-Center move that brought 60 servers from Cleveland, OH, and 20 servers from Conshohocken, PA to one cage at Peak 10 NAS2, bringing a total of about 200 servers, 25 SAN shelves, and a Foundry Network backbone online in one cage.• Worked with Tools Forever to complete an automated user creation program using an inter-office form to supply the data. This included organizing all objects in Active Directory in the correct OU and to be populated with the correct data supplied from HR.Day-to-Day Duties included: Principal for all things Active Directory and Group Policy across 11 domains. With a small team responsible for Deploying and managing over 500 Physical and Virtual servers. Last tier of helpdesk support. Responsible for all logon scripts for every user on any platform. Foundry switch modifications, configuration, and setup. Managed all Print servers. Shared a one week after hours on-call rotation.
