Chief Architect of a fully integrated insurance system for our non-standard automobile insurance companies. Software supports all business transactions of a mid-size insurance company. System features include: policy transactions management, automatic rate determination, claim processing, accounts payable/receivable, regulatory reporting, data warehouse for management reporting, and batch operations. The project’s life cycle spanned over two years.

Designed, Installed, and Configured MS SQL Server DBMS as the company’s data repository. The company’s data was in a propriety insurance product before this. Source of the information was in ISAM files, vendor had no ODBC or native database drivers. Solution was to Bulk copy load on a daily schedule.

Senior IT leader and project manager for the evaluation of the Insurance/Investment Risk Assessment System,”IRAS” from Risk Management Solutions, Inc. Hands-on responsibilities for data integration of our in-house Treaty and Facultative systems. Negotiated all contracts in the acquisition of the product, including: licensing agreement, payment schedules, training, maintenance, and technical support.
