I direct three choral groups at a growing Episcopal parish in Northern VA. The adult choir rehearses Thurday evenings and we sing a variety of music, from Baroque and Classical pieces, to English Choral, to American Spiritual and contemporary sacred. This is the main choir group for our 10:15 service. We will occasionally join with other choirs to perform larger choral works.The youth choir rehearses each Sunday and peforms monthly at the 10:15 service. We focus on unison pieces and 2-part pieces to develop singing skills with children in grades 1-8.The contemporary group serves as music leaders for our 5:00 Come As You Are service. We sing contemporary Christian and "blended" pieces for the casual Eucharist service.I am also the primary organist/pianist for the church.
