Functioned as the Director of product over a product area that leveraged advanced analytics and data to create over $40M in enterprise value for our parent company. The product area consisted of three product teams (Senior PMs and PMs of each team reported to me). Product teams included data management, advanced analytics and B2B SaaS products. Was accountable to develop an effective product strategy that drove company OKRs, and worked closely with the VP of Product and the Senior Leadership team at Torqata and American Tire Distributors.

Accountable to ideate and build products that strategically aligned with Torqata's company vision and key outcomes. Oversaw a portfolio of products commercialized back to Torqata's mother company (American Tire Distributors), built new product teams including hiring and coaching PMs, organizing team structure and building team maturity and agile practices.

Driven Analytics is a vehicle telematics and internet of things (IoT) technology start-up aimed at helping car dealerships, automotive service centers, and roadside assistance providers leverage connected car data in order to improve the customer experience, increase customer retention, and reduce costs. I founded Driven Analytics, Inc. in 2014 while pursuing my MBA in Entrepreneurship at the University of Oklahoma. After winning approximately $65K in non-dilutive cash awards by competing in business plan competitions (including the Rice Business Plan Competition) I launched Driven Analytics and raised funds from both institutional and angel investors. - Built and validated a connected car MPV with two new car franchise car dealerships.- Worked with three major third party aftermarket warranty administrators to integrate connected car and IoT data into various finance and insurance products. - Worked with vendors in the US and China to source and build CDMA, 3G and 4G connected vehicle hardware as well as low-cost BlueTooth LE hardware to our specification for integration into connected car products. - Built a full-stack development team including database architecture, back-end API development, front end web development, iOS, and Android mobile app development, data science and UI/UX design.- Hired and worked with the management team to build a financial reporting system, HR handbook, a full benefits package, an employee stock option plan, and an effective screening and hiring process.- Created a corporate culture that saw only two voluntary employee departures over 5 years. - Built a suite of products specifically for the Credit Union lending space focused on improving engagement for members with indirect auto loans.- Built a custom connected car program for the largest roadside assistance provider in the US, focused on improving vehicle maintenance and reducing emergency roadside calls.

I formed Berechiah Consulting because I found myself constantly interacting with SMB owners who needed operational help. Through Berechiah Consulting, I leveraged my engineering background, Six Sigma certification, and deep automotive knowledge to help small businesses, particularly those in the automotive space, solve operational problems. Activities ranged from conducting a detailed manufacturing cost analysis to building quality assurance programs and revamping marketing efforts.

Successfully managed concurrent product development programs. Many projects were rescue engineering efforts or concurrent design/build projects with highly compressed timelines and substantial technical risk. Primary projects including advanced passive and semi-active suspension development programs for the Department of Defense, prototype vehicle design and build programs and theme park ride development programs including complete schedule management of a $200M theme park ride. -Managed concurrent projects from start to finish including bid generation and proposal writing, statement of work and contract negotiations, schedule and budget management as well as risk mitigation and change order management.-Managed cross-functional engineering and fabrication teams to successfully meet program goals from the initial kick-off meeting to final delivery. Led teams through brainstorming and design selection, preliminary and detailed design phases, design reviews, drawing releases, fabrication and build, field testing and final delivery.-Actively worked with engineering, purchasing, quality assurance, and fabrication departments to improve communication, reduce cost and lead times, and increase quality in order to consistently meet program deadlines and profitability goals. -Managed multiple Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR) programs through the Department of Defense (DoD), including Phase II and Phase III SBIRs.-Obtained secret level DoD security clearance. -Directed the design and implementation of an automated system to improve cost tracking of prototype engineering and build programs, providing improved cost data for future bids and proposals.- Led the implementation of a new company website, working with market directors to define, structure and generate content and IT to format and build pages, meeting our planned go-live date.MillenWorks was later purchased by Textron Land and Marine Systems and is now a part of Textron Special Vehicles.

Functioned as part of a team of campus-community outreach liaisons for faith-based non-profit campus organizations at El Camino Community College, the University of Oklahoma and North Carolina State University. Completed two years of Bible and ministry training while working with students on the El Camino Community College campus.

Designed and implemented detailed automotive technology training for Honda dealerships in Oklahoma, California and Michigan. Training sessions involved detailed classes on the latest automotive safety systems, engine technology, chassis technology and training on specific vehicles. Measured automotive knowledge in course attendees typically improved from below 40% to above 85% post training.

Led the University of Oklahoma Formula SAE "Sooner Racing Team" in the design and build of their 2004 FSAE Detroit entry. Implemented the use of a Gant chart and full schedule to manage every aspect of the design and build. Put together a committee of faculty members to participate in a design review process in order to improve the overall design and build quality. Put team structures in place with the stated goal of achieving a top 5 finish within 4 years. The team finished 2nd three years later.

Conducted extensive vehicle dynamics research on the limit and sub-limit impacts of variable-gear-ratio steering on a passenger car. Test environments included dry, wet and icy conditions and test modes were developed to evaluate every day and evasive maneuver reactions by experienced and inexperienced drivers. Additionally, new metrics for evaluating subjective steering feelings were developed and manufacturing considerations, including cost and quality were evaluated.

-Coordinated characterization testing of 42 volt alternator; results were published internally-Studied alternator brush wear resulting in cost saving recommendation for design change-Analyzed hundreds of tolerances and brought alternator axial stack-up to current drawing specification

-Process improvement of oil seal molding process, including improved tooling and fixture design-Solid modeling for tool and fixture design through the plant using SolidWorks

-Conducted detailed power steering fluid and steering pump pulley study-Technical sales task support for Dodge Ram and commercial truck program in Mexico-Testing of power steering pump for improvements in noise, vibration and harshness (NVH) -Submitted invention disclosure to Visteon Intellectual Properties Group as a result of NVH testing-Attended robustness and systems integration training

-Analyzed fluid port misalignment condition, designed changes that improved NVH characteristics -Conducted extensive NVH testing on power steering pumps -Analyzed pressure pulse data and correlated changes to mechanical variations in pumps-Designed relief valve ball seat to eliminate valve hiss-Supported joint power steering pump engineering effort with Mazda in Japan
