Following the integration of Kepware Technologies into PTC's overall ThingWorx IoT platform, I am now part of the Go To Market Strategy team for ThingWorx, with a focus on the Oil & Gas and Mining Industries. The ThingWorx Platform provides the ability to easily connect, analyze, create and experience data/information from various systems and sources throughout an enterprise. Similar to Kepware, PTC strategically acquired complementary technology companies to create this comprehensive platform that is fully functional today. These other companies include ThingWorx, ColdLight (analytics/machine learning), Axeda (connected products), and Vuforia (VR/AR).

Business Development and Product Management for automation connectivity and communication functionality specific to the Oil & Gas Industry.

• Managed customers’ requirements, bids and quotations, and service needs for the utility and construction hydraulic aerial equipment markets.• Conducted live demonstrations and provided training for all equipment deliveries.• Promoted and sold Altec’s subsidiary company products, including rentals, used equipment, capital/leasing, and fleet equipment management.

• Marketed and sold Meditech’s multi-million dollar health care information system to senior level managers and executives at hospitals and hospital networks for new and existing accounts.• Coordinated on-site and remote demonstrations of Meditech software and applications.• Managed the preparation of RFPs (Requests for Proposals) and provided quotes to prospects.

• Joined a startup division in Comverse as it ramped from 25 employees to over 300 to develop, productize, and sell new Voice Portal systems in the telecommunications industry to carriers such as Sprint PCS, AT&T Wireless, Verizon and T-Mobil Germany. • Analyzed global voice portal market by attending industry conferences, researching analyst reports, and meeting with customers and industry consultants. Developed sales strategies to convince potential customers of the profitability and viability of this new product and market.• Developed and conducted marketing and sales presentations to over 20 customers in the Americas sales region. Promoted Comverse as an industry leader by presenting voice portal concepts and technologies and product demonstrations at industry seminars and events.• Managed engineering project teams in Tel Aviv and Cambridge in the customer delivery center to communicate and ensure customer requirements while properly managing customer expectations.

• Managed the development of a new feature-based Computer Aided Manufacturing software product, Expert Machinist, for a $255 million dollar market. This was a key product to PTC’s total solutions package to assist their 25,000 global manufacturing customers in achieving their product goals better, faster, and cheaper. • Launched and maintained a successful Beta testing program for Expert Machinist with 13 existing PTC global customers, holding position of key liaison with all Beta users and supporting PTC field engineers. • Managed product for First Customer Shipment dealing with cross-functional issues of quality assurance, documentation, localization, technical support, training, licensing and product release.
