I lead a team of solution engineers working with enterprise customers designing and deploying Rasa chatbots using various NLU & Dialog components. Deployments typically in Kubernetes/OpenShift on public or private cloud platforms. Production stack and workflow using Kafka, RabbitMQ, Postgres, DynamoDB, Mongo, Elastic, Grafana, git and CI/CD platforms. Developed Rasa OpenTracing & OpenTelemetry integration.

Evaluation and development of bots related to Anti-Money Laundering and KYC processes. Primary development using Rasa and related tools. Also developed Amazon Lex, Jupyter Notebook and Alexa based solutionsBot development projects with Alexa for Business Skills and NLP work including Amazon Lex, Rasa and TensorFlow models with various NLP and Dialog components in python for PwC in the financial services industry.

I've spent 35+ years in enterprise software development, system integration and management. In recent years have been involved in NLP, IoT and fullstack TypeScript projects. I've also worked with the Cisco APIC software defined network API's.I've deployed solutions around serverless architectures on Lambda and Stitch as well as Docker and Kubernetes including the use of numerous AWS and open source tools. I've done more backend work than front end primarily using Node.js, GraphQL, Prisma, Apollo, MongoDB, Postgres, Meteor and REST. I've also done IoT work with NodeRed and MQTT on Raspberry Pi's as well as ESP8266 and ESP32 SoC.
